Vanessa is a licensed paralegal with an Ontario college diploma from Seneca College. Additionally, she completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo with a double major in Legal Studies and Sociology.

Vanessa has a variety of experience in different areas of law. As a summer intern in a mid-sized firm she was exposed to litigation, immigration and corporate commercial law. Her field placement from the paralegal program was at a criminal law firm where she had the opportunity to attend court to speak to procedural matters. After graduation she worked at a real estate firm where she focused on residential purchase and sale transactions. Now at Oziel Law she supports both the corporate and securities teams.

As a first generation Canadian, Vanessa is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, and very interested in exploring her Chinese culture and traditions. She is a passionate learner that continuously extends herself to broaden her knowledge and abilities.
