Stephanie Sung is a business and technology lawyer who advises innovative startups and growth-stage companies throughout their business lifecycle. Her practice focuses on corporate, commercial and intellectual property matters, including formation, corporate reorganizations, acquisitions, commercial agreements, and the protection of trademarks, copyright, and trade secrets. She has experience advising founders and emerging companies on seed-stage and preferred-share financings and corporate governance matters. By combining her experience in both corporate transactions and intellectual property law, Stephanie provides practical, business-minded legal solutions to meet clients’ growth objectives.
Stephanie holds a Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law, where she gained hands-on advocating experience representing clients through various Legal Aid clinics and served as a Graduate Assistant at the Ted Rogers School of Business. Prior to her legal education, Stephanie obtained a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University and gained valuable experience working at the Ontario Court of Justice.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys staying active with gym workouts and yoga, spending time with friends and family, and immersing herself in a good novel or puzzle.
