Karan is our Articling Student for the 2023-2024 term, assisting the firm with all matters.
He earned his JD from Queen’s University and his BComm from Toronto Metropolitan University. Karan possesses a passion for collaborating with startups and emerging companies. During law school, he functioned as a Venture Analyst at the Creative Destruction Lab, focusing on recruiting and evaluating deep-tech startups.
Karan also served as a Student Caseworker at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic, offering pro-bono legal services to a diverse range of small businesses within southern Ontario.
Prior to law school, Karan interned in the Legal department at one of Canada’s preeminent mining companies and in the Business Development department at a large corporate law firm in Toronto.
Karan is passionate about all things pop culture, a fierce board game competitor, and a seasoned billiards player.
