Moushmi is our Articling Student for the year 2022-23 and she is assisting the firm in all matters.
Moushmi recently graduated with her LLM degree in International Business Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School and during this time, she developed an avid interest in business, technology, and privacy laws. As a first-generation, south-Asian lawyer, Moushmi has a deep appreciation for a sense of community and she volunteers to work for organizations like the ITL Network that guide international lawyers through their Canadian licensing journeys. This year, she was also nominated to be a part of two OBA Executive Committees including the Privacy & Access to Information Section.
Prior to her legal career in Ontario, Moushmi worked as a Banking and Insolvency lawyer in a top-tier law firm in India. As an Insolvency lawyer, she got the exposure to practice both – corporate and litigation processes in landmark judgments. Outside of law,
Moushmi spends her time blogging about social-psychology concepts and enjoys reading books on postmodernism.
