Bio Details

Moushmi is our Associate Lawyer, providing legal proficiency across various domains, including business, technology, securities, and intellectual property law matters. She also assists in the firm’s legal innovation projects and oversees knowledge management initiatives.

Moushmi earned her LLM degree in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022 and completed her Articling Placement with Oziel Law in 2023. Prior to her legal career in Ontario, Moushmi worked as a Banking and Insolvency lawyer at a leading law firm in India. In this role, she gained valuable experience in both corporate and litigation processes, contributing to landmark judgments in the field of Insolvency.

As a first-generation South Asian lawyer, Moushmi holds a strong sense of community and actively volunteers to assist international lawyers in their Canadian licensing journeys. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Ontario Bar Association’s – Privacy & Access to Information Section. Beyond her legal pursuits, Moushmi is a passionate reader, a dedicated Harry Potter aficionado, and enjoys exploring various park-related activities with her friends on weekends.
