Lisa is a knowledgeable and dedicated professional with a diverse academic and practical background in law. She assists clients in general corporate and securities law matters, with an emphasis on private placements, initial public offerings, capital pool company formations and continuous disclosure obligations. She is fast learning how to navigate her clients in and through the Securities Act and stock exchange rules, and prides herself on her professionalism, attention to detail, and her ability to provide practical guidance. She began her career as a Law Clerk working in a number of prominent Bay street firms as well as in-house, where she developed a broad spectrum of experience. She’s versatile, endlessly accommodating and has developed a special interest for anything to do with the counterfeit fashion industry.
Lisa obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Bond University, Faculty of Law in Australia, an Honours Degree as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A., Hons) from the University of Guelph, a postgraduate Law Clerk diploma from Seneca College, and studied abroad at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.
