On May 14, 2025, Allan Oziel attended the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP)’s Privacy Symposium Panel 2025 to speak at its workshop Navigating AI Contract Issues — Key Risks and Best Practices in an Evolving Legal World.
Allan joined an expert panel of lawyers to discuss the complexities of AI related contracts, including copyright infringement risks, indemnification and liability concerns, and data protection obligations when using large language models. They offered practical insights on drafting effective AI related agreements, negotiating risk allocation and ensuring compliance with evolving legal standards.
