Is my company eligible?
Eligibility depends on the program. In Ontario, ElevateIP generally requires a Canadian-controlled private corporation with fewer than 500 employees, headquartered in Ontario, Manitoba or Saskatchewan, that owns its IP in the company's name. IPON supports Ontario-based small and medium-sized companies. We can review your situation on an introductory call.
Can I use ElevateIP and IPON together?
Sometimes, for different projects. IPON funding typically can't be combined with other IP funding for the same work unless IPON approves, so we help you plan which program funds which project.
How much will my company pay?
Under IPON, approved companies cover at least 20% of eligible costs plus applicable taxes. ElevateIP support depends on the stream and the amount approved. We confirm the scope and your share before any work begins.
Do you apply for the funding on our behalf?
Your company applies to the program. We help you identify priority projects and prepare the scope of work and quote the application requires.
When is the next intake?
Intakes and funding calls open periodically. Contact us and we'll let you know what's currently open and how to prepare.
