Is the first consultation free?
Yes. The first short call to understand your needs and confirm we're the right firm is free. Substantive legal advice begins once we're engaged.
Do you work with clients outside Toronto?
Yes. Most of our work is virtual. We act for companies across Ontario and Canada, and for international companies doing business in Canada.
What should I send before the call?
A one-paragraph description of your business, what you need, any deadline (for example, a financing close or a product launch), and any draft documents or term sheets.
How are fees structured?
We offer flat fees wherever the scope is predictable, such as incorporations, startup packages, trademark filings, and terms of service and privacy policy packages. Other work is billed hourly against a retainer held in trust under Law Society of Ontario rules.
